Besides his generous support and annual contributions to many local organizations, Dr. Neal also donates his office twice a year to help out those in need. The office has participated in the ADA sponsored "Give Kids a Smile Day" program every Febraury since the year 2003. This is a national program of volunteer professionals who donate one day of dental services for local children without dental insurance. These services include free cleanings, exams, x-rays, oral hygiene instruction, nutritional guidance, fluoride treatment and sealants. Additionally, this office reserves another follow-up day to provide any restorations for those in need at no cost.Dr. Neal saw a need in 2005 to help out Veterans in the area, so he established a free day of care for any veteran in need of dental services without the means to pay. Every November around Veteran's Day, Dr. Neal and his staff honor those who have served and provide them with a cleaning, exam, and x-rays. They also reserve another day to treat any teeth in need of restorations.
Dr. Neal also participates in three programs run by the state; Medicaid, Donated Dental Care Services and the Professional Denture Care. These agencies help out low income patients in need of dental care at a greatly reduced fee.
